Thanks Anna - tomorrow (Thursday) is new box day so we'll be having, tonight, bake-all-the-old-veggies-in-the-oven - mine with grated cheese on top or maybe some seeds, his with breadcrumbs & bacon. We'll be having His and Hers pottery dishes made for us next...I'll keep an eye out for your recipes...noted the Green Bus site, and yes, lots of mash and veg and yummy onion gravies! The beef Strogonoff sounds lovely - please do!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23521848.post-86328920038821231442007-01-29T10:12:00.000-08:002007-01-29T10:12:00.000-08:00Ooh, a challenge! I expect that, like us, you're eating lots of mash and plain vegetables at the moment. Can't complain, not when there's plenty of gravy... mm. I will be making carrot + cardamom soup on Wednesday so I will post the recipe for that. And one of Steve's specialities is a beef or quorn Stroganoff - yummy with mashed potato. Will post both these soon. And will try to accomodate your non-cheese household. :-)Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16055579579637610234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23521848.post-80193422200905612982007-01-26T07:54:00.000-08:002007-01-26T07:54:00.000-08:00I don't have any need for dog biscuits but I did w...I don't have any need for dog biscuits but I did want to let you know that Pete and I are still thrilled with the weekly contents of our veggie boxes. They have undoubtedly improved our meal choices, we are cooking every day properly even though not always up to it, and getting our 5 a Day.

We are slightly limited in the range of recipes we can use from your Diaries, Anna. Pete does not eat cheese or pasta, is not overkeen on rice... However, we have a divided baking dish in which we can place vagetable bakes etc. Mine can have a cheese topping, Pete gets chopped bacon. It works!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
